Synopsis: We are closely approaching the day (March 11th, 2007) in which the DST will be changed ahead of schedule in the US. This means that most every device an computer needs to be patched. Most publishers have been good about making patches available. Though patches are available, they are not available for every iteration of operating system and application. As usual I will focus on Microsoft, but provide links to most all major publishers of corporate concern.

Synopsis: "I'm a Mac".."And I am AD, piss off." This is the sentiment of both Mac users and those in many companies forced to support those users. Apple has come a long way in providing tools to work within Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange, however it is not an art yet mastered.
One of the most common problems is the good old fashioned "Temporarily Locked Out" notification received by many a Mac user while accessing email via Entourage or network resources. A call goes into the help desk and you activate the account while losing money and time.
This problem has three solutions, two that cost money, and one that does not. I will explain after the jump.
